Through the websites couchsurfing.com and hospitalityclub.org we have found homes and beds to sleep and live in.

Through word of mouth by the people we meet on the street in the new city we arrive in, we have found locations to operate the library.

Theatres, cafes, public parks, bookstores, city hall, art galleries, museums, your house: you name it, we can operate our library anywhere: all we need is a space and a table and chair – we provide everything else.

Through networks of support such as Food Not Bombs (San Francisco) we have been fed. We also feed ourselves through the practice commonly termed ‘dumpster-diving’ aka the nice media-friendly term ‘freeganism’. Whatever. It still means we jump in a bin.

We are also on the lookout for a new Tech guru who wants to help us realise some of our more experimental audio, audio-visual, classification and text-based collage ideas. Anyone out there with a penchant for php, ruby on rails, css, xml, MARC, Dublin Core, xhtml or beyond? If so, please get in touch.

We guarantee your financial investment in us will either be spent on: food, paying for a home for the Librarian & Library, paying for the Librarian & Library to get to their next Library installation point, or poetry.
